"In 2011, a beautiful tradition began at Northwest String Summit It all started with Lilli Trippe, a little girl who loved music, dancing, and Yonder Mountain String Band. For most of her short life, Lilli fiercely battled childhood cancer. In July of 2011, just a few days before her 4th birthday, Lilli passed away. Every year on String Summit Sunday, we honor our little friend Lilli." 💗

I am thrilled to donate this upcycled Yonder Mountain String Band pendant to be auctioned at Northwest String Summit in support of the Lillian Trippe Memorial Shave and in honor of Lilli's love of YMSB. 🌸 Lilli battled childhood cancer and passed away before her 4th birthday. She is honored at String Summit Sunday every year by hosting a head shave while the rest of the crowd gets “Frilli for Lilli” by dressing up in their best Sunday Pink. This wall hanging was made with upcycled strings from several artists who performed at Shoe Fest 2015. Raffle Tickets were sold during the festival and profits helped fund the iPods for St. Jude donation.
